#ThankfulThursday gives the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation a regular opportunity to recognize and thank the important individuals, businesses and organizations in our community that help to make a difference to the quality and effectiveness of our local healthcare system.
This week’s Thankful Thursday feature:
The 4th Annual OEL Charity Golf Tournament organizers and attendees
A hearty Thankful Thursday THANK YOU to the Tri-County Ontario Electrical League (OEL) organizers and attendees for supporting local healthcare and the Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) Foundation at the 4th annual OEL Charity Golf Tournament on June 14.
This annual 9-hole golfing event is held at Fescue’s Edge Golf Club in Scotland and features members of the Tri-County Ontario Electrical League (OEL) and Combined Metal Industries Inc. (CMI) along with their associates and friends.
OEL and CMI have a history of giving having also partnered with the BCHS Foundation to create the Weigh Your Scrap and Give Back program that donates money directly to local healthcare with funds raised from a scrap metal Weigh and Pay program. This unique program offers a pick-up service combined with competitive program pricing for all types of scrap metal.
The Weigh Your Scrap and Give Back program helps the BCHS Foundation to purchase patient equipment not funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, provide essential resources to maintain the exceptional level of compassionate patient care, and invest in new and innovative technology.
