#ThankfulThursday gives the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation a regular opportunity to recognize and thank the important individuals, businesses and organizations in our community that help to make a difference to the quality and effectiveness of our local healthcare system.
This week’s Thankful Thursday features:
BCHS Volunteer Ron Gashgarian!
Ron began volunteering at the Brantford General in 1994 volunteering in Health Records, the Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) Foundation, Staff Scheduling and Human Resources, and has the most hours of any BCHS volunteer with an astounding 14,548 accumulated hours of service!
Just to put that into perspective, Ron’s total volunteer hours equate to:
-
-
- 24 years of total service to date, or;
- 606.2 hours of total volunteering per calendar year of service, or;
- The equivalent of 121.2 standard Canadian work weeks (at 40 hours per week) of volunteering, or;
- The equivalent of 2.33 years of volunteering at the same 40-hour standard Canadian work week rate, or;
- INTERESTING FACT: If Ron worked 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, his volunteering would add up to an astonishing 1.7 accumulated years of continuous service!
-
Ron Gashgarian represents the pinnacle of volunteerism at the Brant Community Healthcare System and we all applaud his incredible achievement. Thank you, Ron!
