Thank you Sacred Heart Catholic Womens League!

An enormous thank you goes out to all of the members of the Sacred Heart Catholic Womens League for their generous donation of $1,000 to the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation on Jan. 11.
The donation was the result of contributions to the League’s many annual community support initiatives including funds received from home baking projects, their annual Christmas tea events, bazaars, garden parties and the funeral luncheons they provide to local families.
The Sacred Heart Catholic Womens League was founded in 1952 with the aim of supporting local organizations in need and providing bursaries and awards to local schools. They currently have over 100 members and since 1998 the group has provided over $6,000 in donation support to the The Willett, the Cancer Care Clinic, Diagnostic Imaging and the Top Priority Fund at the BCHS Foundation.
On Jan. 11, the Sacred Heart Catholic Womens League was recognized on the BCHS Foundation Ambassador wall for contributing over $5,000 to local healthcare. Thank you for making a difference to local community healthcare, ladies!
