Queensview Retirement Community celebrates National Volunteer Week

Thank you to Amanda Walker, marketing manager at Queensview Retirement Community for presenting our wonderful BCHS Volunteer Association volunteers with prizes of gift cards in celebration of National Volunteer Week on Friday, April 20.

Queensview Retirement Community generously donated $750 in Subway, Boston Pizza and Ultimate Dining gift cards to 15 of our volunteers throughout the week of April 16 to say thank you for the Volunteer Association’s dedication and commitment to the health and welfare of the BCHS’ patients. Their volunteer recognition event culminating in a grand prize of $250 in Keg Steakhouse and Cineplex Movie Theatre gift cards to Cathy Mann (pictured) for becoming our oldest serving hospital volunteer. Cathy began volunteering at the BCHS in 1971. Well doneCathy, and thank you to Queensview Retirement Community!
