The generosity of the Rizzo family and our donors supporting MRI at the BCHS

Thank you to the tremendous support of our generous donors and the leadership of the Rizzo family who made the MRI at the Brantford General possible for the past 11 years.

 

The MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) technology installed in the Sam Rizzo MRI Suite has been installed at the Brant Community Healthcare System since Sept. 4, 2007 and continues to ensure quality healthcare within our community – the City of Brantford and the County of Brant.

In August 2017, after helping to diagnose over 58,000 patients, the MRI underwent an extensive renovation thanks to the ongoing support of our community, the Rizzo family and our donors. This allowed the BCHS to outfit the MRI with a completely refurbished camera and component set coupled with a software upgrade enabling clearer images for more enhanced and accurate patient diagnosis.
