Donor Dollars at Work – NICU Bassinets

The Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation recently invested $73,700 to purchase 22 Nära Stryker bassinets to benefit the Family Birthing Centre, Post-Partum Area, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

These bassinets adjust to an appropriate height for caregivers. and are narrow to allow for mother and infant closeness. The soft edge basket with a tilt feature allows for easy access, visibility and interaction with the newborn. The bassinets are made of materials that are durable and easy to clean, and feature storage drawers. Their light weight and locking soft-wheel casters also provide smooth and safe transport.
