BCHS kicks off Volunteer Week with 45th Annual Volunteer Recognition event

To kick off National Volunteer Week, the Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) and BCHS Foundation welcomed all of the members of the BCHS Volunteer Association to the Brantford Golf & Country Club for a Thank-You Luncheon on April 9.

BCHS Volunteer Association
Chris McCurdy, Chair of the BCHS Foundation received a generous donation of $85,000 from Judy Evans, Chair of the BCHS Volunteer Association at the 45th Annual Volunteer Recognition luncheon event at the Brantford Golf and Country Club on April 9.

This annual event, now in its 45th year, celebrates the wonderful and meaningful work our 330 volunteers provide for the BCHS and the patients and families of Brantford, Brant and the surrounding communities each and every day.

We simply could not do what we do without their essential help and hard work, and for that, we are truly grateful. THANK YOU to all our incredible volunteers!

The Volunteer Association’s generosity has allowed us to keep up-to-date on the latest technological advances, renovate space to better serve our patients and loved ones and purchase new equipment required to deliver care to our patients each and every day.
