BRANTFORD – Sept. 30, 2016
The Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Kari Wilson to the role of Executive Director.
Shalaka Kulkarni, Chair of the BCHS Foundation says that with Kari at the helm the Foundation will be in capable hands. “It’s important for us to have an Executive Director who understands our community well, can explore opportunities for growth and ensure the best use of donor dollars,” she said. “The Board of Directors is confident that as a highly skilled communicator, Kari will be able to continue the important conversations about the need to support local healthcare in our community.”
Kari has proven her commitment to the BCHS and the Foundation with over 18 years of dedicated service. As the Associate Director, Major Gifts and Planned Giving for the BCHS Foundation, she helped to build a strong, motivated team of fundraisers to carry out the mandate of the BCHS Foundation Board of Directors and forged a close network of invested community partners and donors.

Jim Hornell, President and CEO of the Brant Community Healthcare System, says Kari will serve as an ideal ambassador for the Foundation. “Kari is a familiar face and has an extensive knowledge of our organization, its people and its needs. We congratulate her and look forward to working with the Foundation’s team to find ways to maintain the highest standards of care and treatment that people in Brantford and Brant County expect and deserve.”
