Thank you to Kamrynn Johnson and the Johnson family and friends for their wonderful act of philanthropic giving

An enormous Thankful Thursday THANK YOU to Kamrynn Johnson and the Johnson family and friends for their wonderful act of philanthropic giving on Saturday, June 1.

Nine-year old Kamrynn, her younger brother Owen and parents Dan and Katie hosted a bake sale outside their Brantford home to raise funds for the Brant Community Cancer Clinic at the Brantford General with support from over 20 of their family members and friends who donated baked goods to sell at the event.

Community support was overwhelming for the ‘Kamrynn Johnson Bake Sale‘ and in two short hours the family sold their entire inventory of tasty home-baked goods to a crowd of over 100 delighted local customers raising an incredible $2,500 for local healthcare!

Kamrynn and her family found inspiration to act in support of the Brant Community Healthcare System after Kamrynn and Owen’s Nana was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year and had recently undergone chemo therapy treatments at the Brant Community Cancer Clinic at the Brantford General.

Thank you Kamrynn, Owen, the entire Johnson family and friends, and the local community for their support, their selfless act of giving and their dedication to local healthcare. You are all our Thankful Thursday focus for the week of Thursday, June 6, 2019.
