City of Brantford Mayor Kevin Davis announces support for the BCHS Emergency Department at the Brantford General at the BCHS Foundation’s Hollywood Gala on May 24.

Thank you to the City of Brantford for their announcement of support for the ED at the Brantford General

On May 24 in front of a packed Hollywood Gala crowd at the Brantford Golf and Country Club, City of Brantford Mayor Kevin Davis took to the stage and confirmed the City of Brantford’s pledge to support local healthcare by announcing that proceeds from the 2019 Mayor’s Gala will be directed to the Emergency Department redevelopment at the Brantford General.

The decision was made after a unanimous decision by City of Brantford councillors supported Mayor Davis’ motion to direct donations to the BCHS Emergency Department for this year’s charity event.

The Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation needs to raise in excess of $5 million in support of the exciting Emergency Department redevelopment project.

The funds raised by the annual Mayor’s Gala will support the redevelopment of the Emergency Department as well as help us continue to put the technology and tools in the hands of our physicians and staff caring for our patients.
