#ThankfulThursday gives the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation a regular opportunity to recognize and thank the important individuals, businesses and organizations in our community that help to make a difference to the quality and effectiveness of our local healthcare system.

This week’s Thankful Thursday features:

Erin McFadden and the families participating in the BCHS Foundation Wings of Remembrance program

Thank you to Erin McFadden of Dame Decor who painted our beautiful Wings of Remembrance Tribute Wall and to all of the families who supported local healthcare in our community by participating in our Wings of Remembrance program.

This remembrance mural offers families the opportunity to purchase a personalized butterfly as a way to celebrate and memorialize those close to your heart. The butterflies are then incorporated into a beautiful hand-painted mural in the Brantford General Palliative Care unit with proceeds benefitting the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation.

Thank you Erin for providing this wonderful canvas, and to all of the families who have supported this program by purchasing an engraved butterfly to leave an impactful, everlasting memory of your loved ones.
