Elke Hilgendag, Clinical Manager of the,Integrated Stroke Unit accepts painting from artist George Whibbs
Thank you to local artist George Whibbs, who recently donated one of his works to the Integrated Stroke Unit (ISU) at the Brantford General Hospital!
George made this donation in memory of his friend Stanley White. George noted “Twenty years ago I experienced a serious heart episode and my initial care started at the BGH. I was well cared for at that time and I will always be grateful for the help I received”.
George adds, “Stan White was my friend and a fine poet. My painting ‘Waltzing for Colour’ is my donation, paying honour to Stan”.
