Telephone City Christmas Toy Drive benefits Paediatrics at the BCHS

Thank you to Raymond Knight and the team at the Telephone City Christmas Party and Toy Drive committee for an enormous donation of children’s toys and gift cards for the Brant Community Healthcare System’s Paediatrics unit.

Raymond and his dedicated team of volunteers organize and host an annual toy drive involving community businesses, volunteer organizations, local media and musicians culminating in an evening of hard rockin’ fun!

The organizers celebrated their sixth annual event at the Army, Navy and Air Force Club at Colborne Street on Saturday, Dec. 10 featuring rock bands Ruby’s Revenge, Shifty Dickens, Cold Ethyl and The Good Goddamns. Tickets were a monetary donation of $10 or free admission with a donation of a new toy. Donations from the event were used to support six community organizations in need.

The 2016 Telephone City Christmas Party & Toy Drive was made possible by the following generous community supporters and partners:
Pam Stoutenburg, Anne Chrysler, Brett Davidson, Rogers TV, BScene, A.B.A.T.E – Chapter 8, Tradebank, Cozy Commanda Lake Cottages, Crazy Bill’s, Kidtastic Adventures, A.R.T.C.
