Pita Pit Brantford stores give back with Healthy Hearts campaign

Thank you to Pita Pit’s Brantford store managers and staff and for the local community for making our first annual Healthy Hearts campaign an enormous success!

On Feb. 28, Pita Pit’s Brantford store locations presented a cheque for $2,350 to the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation as part of a joint partnership called Healthy Hearts between all three Brantford Pita Pit stores and the BCHS Foundation. The Healthy Hearts campaign was forged to raise money for Cardiac Care patient equipment at the Brantford General and The Willett in Paris.

For the first 14 days of February, customers could donate to the Healthy Hearts campaign by purchasing a paper heart to be displayed in-store. On Feb. 14 a dollar from every pita sale at all three Brantford Pita Pit stores was donated to the BCHS Foundation.

Thank you so much to all of Brantford Pita Pit’s enthusiastic staff and managers, owner-manager Chris Settimi and all of the support from Pita Pit’s customers for your commitment to healthcare. You are all making a valuable contribution to Cardiac Care in the community!
