Thank you OEL Tri-County Chapter and Combined Metal Industries

On Nov. 29 members of the Ontario Electrical League – Tri County Chapter and Combined Metal Industries presented a cheque for $17,000 to the BCHS Foundation for the purchase of a Video Glidescope for the Operating Room.

Dr. Crystal Chettle, Chief of Anaesthesia for the Brant Community Healthcare System was on hand to help celebrate with 13 members of the two companies.

Glidescopes are used to intubate patients in the Operating Room and are designed to help make the administration of a breathing tube into the airway, safe and easy. This critical piece of patient equipment saves lives in emergency situations.
