Join the BCHS Foundation Board of Directors

The Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) Foundation would like to hear from parties interested in becoming a volunteer member of the Board of Directors.

Residents of Brantford, Brant County, Six Nations of the Grand River, and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation interested in becoming a member are encouraged to apply. Members represent a wide spectrum of professional and personal skills and interests and bring the community’s perspective to the Foundation Board.  The positions are voluntary and do not attract an honorarium.

Foundation Board members must be able to work in a collegial manner to provide the leadership and motivation necessary to reach community philanthropic supporters. A commitment of at least four to five hours per month, including Board and Committee meetings, is necessary.

A competency matrix is used to determine the most appropriate candidates for vacant positions. Experience in the following disciplines would be beneficial, however, all those interested are encouraged to apply and every application will receive serious consideration:

  • demonstrated philanthropic leadership
  • legal expertise
  • government and public relations skills
  • accounting and financial expertise.

Selected applications will be invited to an interview by a committee of the Board.

Please deliver/mail completed applications to:
