A Bequest in Your Will
There is no greater legacy than to benefit the health of your friends, family, neighbours and community.
By including a gift to the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation in your will, you are helping us to pay for new patient equipment not supported by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, support patient-centred care and fund new and innovative technology.
Please share your intention to make a planned gift. If you are considering gift planning as a way of supporting the BCHS Foundation, or if you have already included the BCHS Foundation in your estate plans, we encourage you to let us know.
The BCHS Foundation would like to appropriately recognize your thoughtful intention. Your name will be recognized along with others who have demonstrated their commitment to the BCHS. You will receive updates on the programs and activities of the Foundation, as well as invitations to special events.
The most common type of planned gift is a bequest made through a will.
Bequests and other planned gifts create a strong future for the BCHS. A planned gift through a bequest to the BCHS Foundation may serve to significantly reduce, by means of a tax credit, the tax payable on your final income tax return.
In consultation with Kari Wilson, Associate Director, you may designate a particular purpose for which your bequest is to be used, such as Patient Equipment or Cancer Care. Please contact Kari at firstname.lastname@example.org or (519) 751-5544 ext. 5509 for more information or to let us know you have already thought of the BCHS Foundation in your estate plans.
